(More customer reviews)This knife feels good in the hand. It does a great job on bread. As a bonus, in this season (late Sept.) of wonderful, ripe tomatoes, it does a great job of clean cutting even soft tomatoes.

I had originally tried a higher-rated (from a leading cooking magazine) bread knife by Forschner. R H. Forschner by Victorinox 10-1/4-Inch Curved Blade Bread Knife, Black Fibrox Handle The problem with that knife was that it is too large to be comfortable to use with a smaller hand, and it won't fit most knife racks except in the one slot reserved for your big chef's knife.
